Kameda-Henry Kitchen Remodel

An Environmental Photographer and an Economist request an environmental redesign of a traditional Montreal city flat. Their kitchen is dark, cramped and maintains an awkward circulation through their apartment.

The client used all FSC certified woods, no v.o.c. paints and glues, recycled flooring and re-used door moulding. Woods came from local sources. The counter top is a man-made eco-quartz. The appliances are Energy Star rated.

Light is brought into the center of the apartment. The quirky circulation is made more fluid, but the cache is not destroyed.
